  need to drop weight quick, any suggestions?

  i've just been informed that i have the opportunity to go to madrid spain on february 15th.

  i need to lose about 10 pounds in less than 3 weeks.

  i have a bad knee and cannot hit the gym.

  Actually not for everyone, but a fast and healthy way is to Juice fast. 3 days is usually good for beginners. (not the hollywood celebrity diet) There are many books and sites on the subject. You could detox and feel better then you ever have and also drop weight. But again, not everyones cup of tea. (Actually you could have tea too.)

  Was just curious to what the common thought in the JW community is on this scripture. I have been with an un-brainwashed and free mind for about five years now. Here is the scripture:

  Luke 21:8 Taken directly from the word of Franz (NWT)

  "Look out that you are not misled, for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, 'I am he,' and, 'The due time has approached'. Do not go after them."

  or KJV: 8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

  Or even NIV: 8 He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them.

  So, basically if you ask a JW if they believe we are in the end times or last days they will say yes. (We have been since 1914 - their thinking.)

  You can tell them to leave based upon this scripture. Jesus told me so. nah, nah,na, nah, nah....

  "...Do not go after them."

  "...go ye not therefore after them."

  "...Do not follow them."

  Thoughts on this?

  well my weekly bible study is coming up this week and i am being blessed with the cuircut servant and his wife.i was told last week to save all my questions for them,(beacause of my difficulty with believing in 1914).

  does anyone have a question that they would like me to ask.. .

  I agree with country_woman: Wine - especially at the memorial! What a kicker when they all give you the look... and then you bite the bread! HA HA!

  Then I leave and kick back with a pepsi. (Caffeine free. I'm way to excitable.)

  The Passion of The Christ

  anybody been following the development and release of this movie?.

  an 'r' rated jesus film, one that portrays a no holds barred depiction of the the beatings, the whippings, and the execution.

  all dialogue is in the 'original' languages (at first it wasn't supposed to be subtitled, but mel gibson finally caved in on this point.

  Yes, it looks great, however he did stick to some common beliefs and not on fact. But not too much of a big deal. Dramatic license.

  Netflix is great and what's good is if you time it right you can have a movie just about every other day. Here's how. Watch one, return it. Next day watch one then return it. Do it again for the 3rd day by the following day or 2 you can be recieving your next movie eventually you will get into a cycle where your getting a new movie every 2nd to 3rd day. I would say go for it! I love it.

  hey there, techno-geeks.

  can you help a lady out?.

  i have a multi-channel receiver and i want to add a rear-surround speaker, just one center.

  Actually the reciever should have it's own designated slot for the 6.1. What your looking to do is hook up a center rear speaker. Your reciever should have that designated, seperate from the other outputs. Hope this helps.

  Hi everyone. New to the site. Like what I've been seeing here. I' ve been around for awhile. This is actually a response I gave to blueblades on his post. One blade to another if you know what I mean. Anyway I wanted to reprint it here, for your commenting pleasure. Basically we know the governing body knows so much about..... nothing! Anyway here was my visit as they clarified everything in a dream. I got the scoop right from their brain:

  "Everything is very soon and just around the corner and the second door on the left. However, to get the truth of what's behind the door, you have to re-read the watchtower ten times. Now answer all the questions. You must use a yellow hi-liter and not one of those pansy pink ones. Also, comment only from other publications from the society..."

  "The Society" was actually the name of a horror movie, what a coincidence.. ok back to the dream.

  "...or with answers we already supplied you with in the magazine. We are brilliant! Our questions and then our answeres from your lips! What a great way to re-iterate our absolute understanding of nothing! Now cross reference the date found on page 27 of the 1978 watchtower bound volume. No, not your copy, the one locked down in the headquarters in Brooklyn. Now when you look up the word of Franz... I mean the Word of God... heh.. heh.. heh.. the word of God.... It will all be clear now. Just follow the yellow brick road.. oh forget it... Just give me your donation and look at this newest issue of the watchtower right here, it explains everything so clearly.

  You should now see it is just around the corn... um I said that already.. I mean just outside the door, like us... knock knock."

  Wow, what a nightmare. And I thought I had issues.
